is touting his Big Beautiful Bill in Washington, DC today.
At an event meant to drum up support for the bill,
Trump was flanked by working Americans wearing the uniforms of

Senate parliamentarian, also known as the Referee, rejected key medicaid
provisions in the GOP's tax and spending bill. President Trump
is threatening lawsuits against both CNN and The New York
Times over reporting surrounding reascent US airstrikes in Iran. A
lawyer for Trump sent letters to both news outlets saying
they had damaged Trump's reputation, demanding a retraction and apology

for reporting that the attack on Iran had set back
the country's nuclear program by only a few months. The
wife of the man accused of shooting two Minnesota leaders
and their spouses is speaking out for the first time.

Jenny Belter released a statement today through her lawyer, offering
her sympathies to the victims and their families. She added
that she is cooperating with authorities as they investigate her husband,
Vance Belter, he allegedly posed as a police officer and
gunned downhouse speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband on June fourteenth.
Belter is also accused of shooting and wounding State Senator
John Huffman and his wife.

Severe weather is causing chaos on air travel this evening.
The tracking website flight Aware shows more than ninety eight
hundred flights have been delayed across the US, with almost
nine hundred canceled. Severe storms in in the upper Midwest, Southwest,
Great Lakes and mid Atlantic are impacting air travel. I'm
Brian Shook. The FAA is investigating after an American Airlines

flight was forced to return to Las Vegas with flames
and smoke coming out of its engine. Flight sixteen sixty
five was headed for Charlotte Wednesday morning with one hundred
and fifty three passengers on board, but had to turn
around after the engine caught fire minutes after takeoff. All

The decision comes after the two companies put their partnership
on hold in May. The deal was first announced in
